    Julie was such a lovely friendly host. Lots of nice touches, including body lotion, shampoos etc. she also provided an excellent fruit and cereal breakfast, teas, coffees and fresh milk.

No. 26 - the B&B with a garden, where guests are guaranteed a warm Wells welcome and peaceful stay, sits nestled in the corner, well back off the Glastonbury Road and only a 20 minute stroll from Wells Cathedral. Overlooking the back garden, with views to the Mendip Hills, our Twin Guestroom with en suite shower and complimentary toiletries, is fitted with a flat screen TV, table top fridge, kettle and welcome tray. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast (gluten free options available on request). Complimentary private parking and WiFi available to all guests.
A born and bred Wells lady, Julie has warmly welcomed guests, many of them returning, since 2009. Her knowledge of the local area is second to none and she is known, far and wide, for her gracious hospitality and all those small touches which go above and beyond.
No. 26, one of four former police houses is located on the A39 at the entrance to the medieval City of Wells - the smallest city in England and is just a short 45 minute drive from the beautiful City of Bath (UNESCO World Heritage City). The Glastonbury; Street (Clarks Village); Bridgwater; Taunton bus stop is located directly opposite No. 26, in front of the newly opened Barchester Crandon Springs Care Home and the Wells-Princess Road Bus Station is just a 10 minute walk away. Our world famous 13th century Wells Cathedral and The Bishop's Palace & Gardens are a gentle 20 minute stroll. Our city hosts a growing number of annual festivals, including: April - The Festival of Film. May - The Comedy Festival bringing the most exciting names to the pubs and concert halls of Wells. June - The popular English Country Garden Festival takes place in the gardens of the Bishop's Palace. August - The Wells Art Contemporary annual competition and Exhibition. October - The Festival of Literature and The Wells Food Festival. November - The unique Somerset spectacle that is Carnival threading through the streets of the city.
