## The space The flat is on the 8th floor and has fantastic views of the city. It is the perfect base for families, friends or business travellers visiting London and exploring everything the city has to offer. The location couldn't get much better, just a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station and 15 minutes from Hyde Park, Notting Hill and Oxford Street. ## The neighborhood Unusually for somewhere so central, Paddington has managed to avoid becoming a tourist hub in the way of Marble Arch and Oxford Street. There are still quiet streets to be found, independent cafes and even the two-month-long annual Paddington Festival to celebrate the area. What else? For world-class shopping and European cafe culture, Oxford Street and Marylebone are only a short distance away, while if you’re looking to get away from big-city, the canal (2 minutes from property) is the perfect place for a weekend walk, al fresco lunch, amazing brunch spots, bakeries and wine bars or even a leisurely tour from one of the many canal boat operators, and there’s always Hyde Park too. The apartments location is perfect, a 20 minute walk to Notting hill, 30 mins to portobello road. ## Getting around I am a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station (Bakerloo, Hammersmith & City, Circle and District Line) as well as mainline trains to the West of the country (Bath, Bristol, Exeter). A 15 minute walk gets you to Lancaster gate for the Central Line (straight across town to Liverpool Street/the City) You can't get much more central than where I am.
