Occupying a magnificent position at the top of Matilda's Field is the spacious Glamping Tent, Brig Y Bryn. The view takes in the peaceful pond below and the forest and fields beyond. This luxury tent contains everything you need for a peaceful self-catering retreat in the heart of the Dyfnant Forest. Inside the tent you will find a king size four poster bed, two single beds and a king size cabin bed. All beds are 'proper' wooden beds with comfortable mattresses for a great night's sleep. Lounge, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fitted with a hob and all utensils, cutlery and crockery, plus an extra-large cooler box to keep items cold and fresh. This tent also has a leather sofa unit with seating for 4 adults, plus a cast iron stove heater. Outside the tent is a private barbecue fire pit with marshmallow toasting fork and tools, a picnic area exclusive to your tent and a separate private bathroom containing full-size shower and sink with running hot and cold water, toilet (composting) and urinal. There is no mains electric, but there is low voltage solar power which can be used to charge mobile devices.

Lake Vyrnwy, Llanwddyn (2.5 miles) A must see whilst staying in the area, walk, cycle or drive around the scenic lake. Or if you are looking for something more relaxing check out the spa or more thrill seeking the boating and water sports. Rainbow Trails, Dyfnant Forest In the forest you will find Rainbow Trails that accommodate horse riding, carriage driving, cycling & walking. The forest is also fantastic terrain for cycling & mountain biking. Welshpool Llanfair Light Railway, Llanfair Caereinion (14 miles) Steam train trips through beautiful Mid Wales with experience for everyone. Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall, Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant (15 miles) Visit the highest waterfall in Wales, located in the Berwyn Mountains. Lots of public footpaths and a tea room.
