The house is an attractive bay-fronted redbrick house with a small front garden and large back garden. The house was fully renovated in 2022, including new bathroom, kitchen, and fully upgraded and redecorated throughout. All bedrooms come complete with smart TV, a super-comfortable mattress - perfect for relaxed mornings or evenings relaxing in bed before exploring the city or going about your day. The new kitchen is well equipped with oven, induction hob, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and every all the kitchen items you could possibly need. The lounge-dining area is split into two sections, with a breakfast bar facing into the kitchen and dining table in one, a more comfortable seating area in the other. The house is stylish and modern, and comfortable.

Hi, we are Phil and Emma! we live in Cardiff, about 5 minute drive from Maindy House. Phil works at Cardiff University and Emma works at the Royal Mint (just outside of Cardiff). We renovated the house together and took a great deal of pride into making it the lovely house it is today. If you have any issues during your stay we are around to help out.

Maindy house is on a pleasant residential street in the heart of Cardiff. The neighbours and general feel of the road is very relaxed and friendly. The house is directly opposite a number of impressive new Cardiff University buildings (open office-hours only) including the University's Brain Research Imaging Centre and is just across the way from the worlds first Social Sciences Research Park (Spark). The location: Walking/cycling - the location is perfect for getting around the city by foot or cycle. It's close to the city centre (10-15 minutes), less than 5 minutes from many of Cardiff University's building, including the historic Main Building and 20 minutes from Motorpoint Arena Cardiff and Principality stadium - all a pleasant walk along the impressive 'Park Place' Road. There are a number of lovely parks including 'Bute Park' and a large lake (Roath Lake) 10-15 minutes walk. By car - further up Maindy road adjoins onto North Road which is the main trunk road in and out of Cardiff, allowing easy access onto the M4. By Train / Coach - the house is 5 minutes way from Cathays Train Station and 15 minutes walk to Cardiff Central Station. The National Express and Megabus coaches both stop at Park Place just 5 minutes walk from the house.
