The perfect day for family or friends. Enjoy everything that the area has to offer and experience the tranquil countryside as you get away from it all and enjoy the space and your own private hot tub. We are a single, self contained glamping pod set in the hills North of Carrickfergus and walking distance to one of the largest dam in Country Antrim known as Lough mourne. We are only a 5 min drive from Gleno National Trust Waterfall and 5 mins drive to the town centre of Carrickfergus for all your necessary amenities, restaurants and sights of interest such as Carrickfergus Castle - the gateway to the Causeway Coastal route. The Pod itself has a shower, toilet and bathroom sink. A mini kitchen with sink, microwave, fridge freezer and kettle. Wifi included with a smart TV. Hairdryer. We sleep 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. Outside we have a large outdoor table and chairs, mini kids picnic table, swing, hammock and a Cleverspa hot tub upon request. Got pets? We welcome clean, house trained dogs however, we are just set off a road and the site is not fully enclosed so it is at owners own risk. Huge lake roughly 3 mins walk away- takes roughly 2 hours to go whole way around- great for dog walking, cycling etc! National Trust Waterfall- 4 mins drive- Take a cold plunge or just take in the natural beauty of this double waterfall! Carrickfergus Castle- 5 mins drive- fantastic for little ones and history buffs or just a day out, Irelands only open and fully standing Castle The Gobbins walk- 6 mins drive- Multi million pound award wining walking tour off the cliffs- this is a guided tour and booking is required. People from around the world come to experience tthis walk all year around.
