Battle is a town in East Sussex famous for it's involvement with the Battle of Hastings in 1066. Standing proud is Battle Abbey, although part of it's building now lays in ruins, visitors still explore its battlegrounds and Abbey ruins. Events take place all-year from medieval fayres to scarecrow competitions.
