We have a great team of holiday cottage professionals who have lived in the area for a combined number of 60 years and are more than happy to share their knowledge and advice on where to explore, whether you are here for a holiday, working, or studying. We are here to look after you before, during and after your stay. We operate to high standards of property care. We require full electrical, gas and other safety certificates to be updated annually by the owners. Our team is Cristina, Maddy, and Mandie (plus a platoon of housekeepers and handymen and women who keep our holiday cottages in tip top condition). Bushnells Cottage is a quaint two bedroom cottage situated in the village of Forest Hill just four miles from Oxford. The cottage sleeps up to three guests in a double bedroom and single bedroom. The cottage is surrounded by picturesque Oxfordshire countryside but with very easy access to Oxford city. Through the main entrance, you step into the lounge which is adorned with two cosy sofas, a TV, and a splendid wood-burning stove, boasting wooden beams. The entire ground floor is equipped with underfloor heating and stone floors. The kitchen is fully equipped and fitted with everything you might need for a short or extended stay, including a dishwasher, washer-dryer, and a dining table with seating for up to four guests. The bedrooms are situated on the first floor, with the first bedroom furnished with a comfortable king-sized bed and ample storage in the form of a wardrobe and bedside tables. The snug second bedroom includes a single bed and a wardrobe. The spacious family bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC, and washbasin. The home benefits from a private garden to the rear of the house with a patio area with table and chairs. There is street parking available outside of the property or a short walk away.

Forest Hill is a friendly village with many other picturesque villages around, such as Stanton-St-John, Horton-cum-Studley and Brill. It's a wonderful place to stay with such easy access to pretty countryside walks as well as the city of Oxford being on your doorstep. The local pub is called The White Horse, a great local pub with a twist as it is one of the best Thai restaurants for many miles around. Just behind our cottage is Forest Hill itself where there are a great number of super walks, with outstanding views across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
