Located just outside the sleepy village of Belford, Melody’s Cottage is a cosy period property with plenty of charm. Nestled within stunning countryside, the holiday home is perfectly located between the historic towns of Berwick-upon-Tweed and Alnwick. Whether you’re looking for a tranquil getaway or a dog friendly adventure, the property will provide the ideal base for your stay. Sleeping up to four guests, Melody’s Cottage is a calming oasis for couples, families and small groups of friends. Please note that there are currently building works taking place next door to Melody's Cottage. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to 500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Melody’s Cottage is located in beautiful Middleton, right in the centre of rural farming life in Belford. Ideally situated between the Northumberland coast and wilderness of the Northumberland National Park, you really do have lots to discover. Surrounded by fields, trees and nature, Melody’s Cottage has a lush, green backdrop. You can enjoy long, quiet walks and energetic hikes through the countryside. The area is packed with wildlife and even features a nature reserve, so birds like wildfowl and waders can be seen passing through in droves during the winter. Belford has a thriving and friendly market square at its centre, brimming with independent shops, restaurants and inns. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne can be seen from various points around the village and is within easy reach. It’s an ideal base for those wanting to partake in a spot of fishing and golfing. Melody’s Cottage is just a short 10-minute drive from the gorgeous coastal town of Bamburgh. Here you’ll find miles of stunning sandy shores and Bamburgh Castle, which is one of the finest castles in the country. Standing on the Northumberland coastline for over 1,400 years, there is a wealth of history to uncover.
