Property information

Fox Cottage is a stylish and comfortable home containing everything you could need for a relaxing stay in Northumberland, including an enclosed garden which catches the sun. You’ll find high quality items throughout Fox Cottage which is finished to a great standard. The village of Bellingham offers great pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as a gift shop, an old train station tearoom, the Hareshaw Linn waterfalls and a 18 hole golf course. The Heritage Centre is the local museum, a short walk from Fox Cottage, and Kielder Water is less than 20 minutes away by car. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during guest bookings. For this reason, we require all our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (refundable, subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver which will cover you for up to 500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

You'll have close links to Kielder Water and the Northumbria National Park. Bellingham is an old-style village in a riverside setting, as well as spectacular countryside. Home to hidden waterfalls, secrets of St Cuthbert and walking routes in abundance, beautiful Bellingham’s idyllic setting makes for a peaceful escape. Sitting on the banks of the North Tyne, stone cottages adorned with ivy sit around every corner, oozing that stereotypical English village charm.
