Armitage Road is located in the coastal town of Redcar. Head to the seafront, and you’ll be able to start your day with a morning walk on the golden sands. Packed with nostalgic charm, the seafront has ice cream parlours, arcades and fish and chip shops. There are a number of rides which little ones will love too! Along the seafront is the infamous vertical pier where you can enjoy views of the coastline. This is also home to a popular bar with outdoor seating looking out to the sea. Further independent cosy bars can be found on Station Road. Redcar is also home to Redcar Racecourse so if you’re visiting for a race day or Ladies’ Day, the property is a great base. Located on the North Yorkshire coastline, you can walk to Marske-by-the-Sea along the beach and then further on to Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Here you’ll find the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK and a 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea.
