A hidden gem at the gateway to the Lake District National Park. This traditional stone cottage is packed full of character and charm, complete with electric log burner for a relaxing break, outdoor adventure or exploring the countryside with your family. Perfect for exploring the historic towns and villages close by with a 10 minute drive from Lake Windermere & all the Lake District National Park has to offer.
We are avid travellers, love experiencing new places and know what it takes to set holiday stays apart from your average getaway. We manage properties in North Yorkshire, The Peak District and Lake District with many being perfect locations for outdoor adventure holidays or a relaxing escape to the countryside. We are always available to contact via phone/email/sms and will have someone available in person for emergency purposes I am contactable if needed.
Burneside village is in a green valley conveniently located at the Gateway to the Lake District National Park, a stones throw from the market town of Kendal, and a short 10 minute journey to the centre of the Lakes. The village has the River Kent running through it which also forms part of the popular Dales Way, an 80 mile walk between Bowness-on-Windermere within the National Park and Ilkley. The village itself has an excellent chip shop (fish and chips are AMAZING), a railway station, pub and a convenience store just a few minutes walk away, and is a 5 minute drive from Carrus Green Golf Club.
