Bowness on Windermere and the heart of the Lake District is approximately 30 minute drive. Keen walkers have the entire Lake District on their doorstep aswell as plenty of quiet public footpaths straight out of the front door. South Lakes Safari Zoo is only a 10 minute drive away.
