Tregaron hosts the annual walking festival in May and an annual horse trotting and carriage racing event. Cors Caron, or Tregaron Bog as it is also known is the largest raised bog in Britain and lies just outside the town. It provides a habitat for rare flora and fauna and is fantastic for wildlife spotting, including buzzards, peregrine falcons, harriers and iconic red kites.
