Nestled in the glorious Cornish countryside with far reaching views, Foxglove Cottage is a recently refurbished 16th Century cottage offering versatile accommodation for families and friends looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage offers 4 bedrooms with flexible bed options, a cosy living room with log burner, separate dining room, country kitchen/breakfast room, bathroom and shower room on the first floor and cloakroom with washing machine on the ground floor. There are storage and hanging facilities available for surfboards, wetsuits and bicycles, there is a privately enclosed rear garden and an evening seating area to experience the wonderful sunsets, bbq and fire pit are available upon request. We have an enclosed paddock next to the cottage whereyou can let your dogs run free. Ample parking is available on site.
Both are keen outdoor enthusiasts, enjoy swimming from many of the nearby beaches, playing golf at Launceston Golf Club, a great parkland course, and escaping to both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.
The village of Langore is a small village, you can buy fresh eggs locally and milk from the dairy farm just down the road. Launceston town centre is only 3 miles away with a variety of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The historic castle is open most days to visitors and the steam train is also worth a visit. The North coast is 25 minutes drive away with its numerous beaches on offer as well as Tintagel with its myths and legends is a must as is Boscastle and Bude. For keen cyclists, we have the Tarka trail starting in Okehampton and the Camel trail starting in Bodmin and many routes across the moors.
