The Annexe at Fifth Milestone Cottage so named as it is exactly five miles from York Minster is a cosy quirky space with mezzanine sleeping area. We are perfectly located for visting York on a direct bus route and near to a park and ride. Route 66 cycle path and Elvington airfield are very close by, as are scenic walks in the local woods and quiet footpaths through beautiful farmland. We are on the outskirts of the village of Dunnington which has a wealth of amenities. There is a sofa bed in the living area which is a small double, this would be suitable for 2 children or 1adult. The shower room is also downstairs along with fitted wardrobes. The sleeping area is accessed via an open staircase so not suitable for those with mobility problems or very young children. Please feel free to message with any questions.
We love hosting and welcoming guests to York and letting them know of all the lovely places to visit.
We live on a busy road so there will be traffic noise. We are on a bus route into York and also close to the Park and Ride so we are easily accessible to York City Centre, and also close to the A64 for access to Leeds and the Yorkshire Coastline. We have plenty of parking available at our property. We are close to the village of Dunnington with grocery store, bakery, bistro, pub, pharmacy and coffee shop. We are also close to Hagg Wood and quiet off road paths for cycling and walking.
