We are situated in an incredible location with sea and castle views (what 3 words pens.octagonal.referral). You can walk through our fields to the cliff edge and join the John O Grouts to Lands end footpath. The views are simply spectacular and the very reason why we relocated here ourselves. If you enjoy nature and the outdoors this is the place for you. We also welcome dogs. The location offers ample parking and is directly on the NC500 route, being less than 10 miles from John O Groats and the Orkney car ferry terminal. If you require breakfast, we can offer a full cooked vegan breakfast or continental breakfast for an additional fee, however the kitchen will need to be vacated by 9am on weekdays.

We are only 500m from Keiss castle, with uninterrupted views from our dining area. You can walk through our fields directly onto the John O Groats to Lands End footpath. If you continue South along the footpath, you will come to the castle and further on you will reach Keiss harbour (keep a lookout for seals on your way!). If you continue walking south from the harbour you will come to beautiful sandy beaches which extend for miles. It really is a spectacular location. In terms of local amenities, there is a pub in Keiss and we are directly on the NC500 route, less than 10 miles from John O Groats and Wick.
