Billie's on the Beach restaurant is an absolute must-visit, as is the local fish & chip shop Moby’s. Bracklesham Tea Rooms is a gorgeous thatched cottage very close to the house. The Co-op store is an easy walk, as is the Goat cafe and K&Gs farm shop. In East Wittering, there's a big Tesco. In Birdham, there's a Little Waitrose at the Shell petrol station. Grocer, fishmonger, butcher, supermarkets and surf shops in neighbouring village East Wittering. Bracklesham Bay is at the end of the road, less than half a mile away. The sandy beach of West Wittering is a 10 minute drive away, or you can walk there along the coast from the house. Lots of beautiful walks nearby, including a nature reserve - ask for details! Easy 5km running route through fields, just up from the house. Water-sports and archery available locally. 15/20 min drive to Chichester if you want a city fix (although really, why would you with the beach to occupy you!).
