The cottage is on the high street in the centre of town close to the town hall, shops, cafes and pubs. Bishops Castle is a planned medieval town and this cottage dates back to that time. It was encased in locally-fired brick and modernised circa 1700. Pubs within five-minutes walk of the cottage front door include The Three Tuns, The Castle Inn and The Six Bells. For live-music lovers, The Vaults pub is just a few steps away (Thursday nights). Free-on-street parking is available on the High Street. There is also free parking in the small public parking lot on Harley Jenkins Street by the Co-Op. This is a short walk from the cottage. Drop your bags off, park the car, and enjoy this little town.
