This charming bow-top and oak lodge sits behind the cottage orchard in a gently sloping field, taking in views over a small wooded area with a stream babbling through it.. Open plan living space. Please note: There is a stream and a pond close to the property.. The Wagon is an original Romani wagon recently restored with pretty sari fabrics, fresh paintwork and a comfortable double mattress - to be honest there’s not a lot of room for much else in a bow-top, so right next door is a craftsman built oak-frame lodge with a pretty garden area that’s perfect for outdoor meals and lazing about. Inside the lodge is a beautifully appointed kitchen where preparing meals is a joy so in autumn when the boughs are full of fruit, why not make a home-made apple pie for dessert?! In the living area there is comfy seating, a wood burner, a dining area and a tip-top shower room completes this little oak house. There are no other holiday accommodations on this site, so if you’re looking for a rural break with peace and privacy, but not too far out in the wilds, this might just be the ticket. This glamping break is a great combination of childhood ’camping out’ and a luxurious lodge holiday - you get the best of both worlds! If you love trees you’ll enjoy the old orchard, the specimen trees planted many years ago, and the mature, wild trees growing along the stream where secret picnic spots have been cleared.
