Location: A coastal retreat, close to Porthleven, a vibrant harbour village with abundant restaurants, pubs, shops, and markets. The sandy beaches of Rinsey Cove and Praa Sands are nearby. Accessibility: Conveniently situated halfway between Penzance and Helston, providing easy access to St Ives, Lands’ End, Falmouth, and the Lizard Peninsula, all within a 30-minute drive. When you return there is safe, off road parking for several cars. Spacious: Single-level property with ample space for the whole family to spread out. Large open-plan sitting and dining area perfect for family gatherings. Good WIFI available for staying connected. Large Garden: Ideal for children, with a flat, secure, mostly lawned area for them to play while you pack the picnic bags. Dog Friendly: Perfect for furry friends, with plentiful walks, a dog-friendly beach close-by, and easy access to the coastal path. Secure garden allows you to relax without worry. Convenience: Well-equipped kitchen and charcoal BBQ for home cooking. There is a pub within walking distance, and Porthleven, is just a 5-minute drive away, offering delicious food options to dine in or take away.

Neighbourhood information

The Barn is situated in Ashton a small village located between Helston and Penzance in the far west of Cornwall. Ashton is a rural village with a good pub within walking distance from the Barn, a mile from the coast and a couple of miles from the vibrant harbour town of Porthleven. Porthleven is full of great pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops, from here you can also hire paddle boards, surf or take fishing trips. The Barn is the perfect base to explore the whole area with Lands End, the Lizard, Falmouth, St Ives and Penzance all within a 30 minute drive. There are numerous sandy beaches nearby and many great attractions to keep all the family entertained on your holiday.
