The bothy is part of an old stone building, it's compact, cosy and recently renovated. Nestled in riperian woodland by Cochill burn, it offers a rural setting with ample oppurtunity for spotting our resident red squirrels. It sits close to our house, but with it's own access and small garden. It is centrally placed to access Perthshire and it's many oppurtunities for outdoor activities, between the attractive historic town of Dunkeld and market town of Aberfeldy both at 8 miles away.
We and our extended family of 3 generations are usually around and happy to assist with any enquires and recommendations. We are aiming to meet you on arrival but we may not always be around.
We're located close to the hamlet of Amulree, within easy reach off crieff, Dunkeld and Aberfeldy, where you will find a interesting variety of great shops, pubs and places to eat. Aberfeldy has an independent community owned cinema. Their are a fantastic range of walks and cycles in the area although none in walking distance of the bothy. There are no public transport close by, the nearest train station is Dunkeld and Birnam 8 miles away.
