Moelfre is a lovely seaside village on the east coast of Anglesey, with quaint houses, a magnificent port, a beach, stunning views of Snowdonia, and a working lifeboat. Visit the renowned Seawatch Center, go fishing or birdwatching, or take a cliff-top hike with breathtaking mountain views while you're there. The Royal Charter shipwreck, which occurred in 1859, is one of the village's many historical ties. At Benllech, Lligwy and Red Wharf Bay, you'll find miles of open sand and birds, as well as some of the best sandy beaches in the area. Traveling around this gorgeous island and into Snowdonia is a breeze from this position.
