There is a pleasant documented walk around Pewsey taking in notable sites and a visit to the Pewsey Heritage Museum. We have a railway station less than 10 minutes walk from the B&B which links to London and the South West; it also offers Train spotting opportunities for the youngsters! The local area boasts a variety of historical and archeological sites of great significance such as Avebury stone circle and henge, the legendary Stonehenge, West Kennet longbarrow, Silbury hill, Salisbury Cathedral; all within 45 minutes drive. The village sits within Pewsey Vale which is surrounded by beautiful chalk hill landscape and white horse hill figures. Alternatively there is the Kennet & Avon canal running past Pewsey and just a 20 minute walk from the door; a great place for a leisurely stroll surrounded by wildlife and canal boats.
