Brook Lodge Terrace Apartment is right in the heart of Swanage, a short level 5 min walk to the beach and shops. On the first floor is the kitchen-diner, bedroom one with kingsize bed, lounge with Flat screen TV, a bath and shower room and a separate toilet. The second floor has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom which is accessed by steep stairs as shown in photos. This apartment also has a south facing roof terrace leading on from the kitchen diner a perfect place for morning coffee. There is private off road parking next to the property . This property suits 2 - 4 Adults and 2 older children. Great location as you are so close to everything you really don't need your car. 2 mins from bus station and taxi rank, and the wonderful heritage steam railway in Swanage.
I am a busy Grandmother, and enjoy time at the beach and the wonderful walks around the Isle of Purbeck with our dog, I love cooking and spending time with my family.
The location is great for walking holidays, relaxing holidays as near to the beach, the Swanage Pier, Swanage Railway 2 min walk, parks for the children, and the downs for the nature , Durlston Castle is a wonderful place to visit as they have the lighthouse and castle and beautiful walks and wild flowers . Corfe Castle can be reached by train or bus, and the beautiful beach at Studland to, there are buses going every hour. The town is full of super independent shops and eateries of all kinds, there is the Mowlem Theatre for shows and films all year round. There are several places to play golf, tennis , bowls, swimming, and many early morning swimmers in the sea. In the summer the RNLI have a safe swim area along the beach.There are many events all year round and lots of pubs that have gardens to sit in when its hot, and cosy fires in the shoulder months. Old Harry Rocks, is a amazing walk , but can be viewed from many places around the town. Down by the pier you can take a boat ride to explore the coast , in the summer there is puffins nesting at Durlston and quite often you will be followed by a dolphin or two, looking for mackerel and follow the fishing boats
