Amazing cottage, great location and beautifully refurbished throughout. Views are amazing and the hosts were so kind letting our toddler feed a lamb and the chickens.

Braffin resides on a working farm. The 'upside-down' layout showcases stunning views over Morecambe Bay and fields full of wildlife, curious cows, lively lambs and happy free-range hens! Step out the door to join a footpath leading to lovely local walks and just 20 mins on foot to the start of the Cumbria Way, in the 'Festival Town' of Ulverston, a friendly place where there is always something going on. Sit back, relax, enjoy the view - we hope you love where we live as much as we do!
Your hosts are Clare and Richard, who have a grown up family and enjoy their rural life alongside their day jobs.
Braffin is a self contained semi-detached property next door to the hosts, the only other neighbours are 500 yards down the road (unless you count the sheep!). Braffin is situated on a working farm, so please expect the usual comings and goings of farm life. A 5 minute drive and 20 minute walk from the town of Ulverston, and a 30 minute drive to beautiful Lake District locations like Bowness and Windermere. Our property is accessible by country lanes and onto a farm track, it is a little bumpy, but easily navigated in a normal car. 1 mile to the nearest bus stop, 1.5 miles to the local train station, less that 5 minutes drive to an A road, nearest supermarket and town of Ulverston.
