Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Situated in the Beautiful village of Carsington, Derbyshire. Newly renovated cottage with views over the water. 3 Bedrooms and two bathrooms. Spacious family kitchen with a separate utility room. Snug sitting room with log burner and a study over looking the water. Close by is Carsington Water reservoir with lots of lovely walks and family fun in the water. Chatsworth House, Market town of Ashbourne, Matlock bath and Bakewell are in easy reach. There is a lovely pub in the Village a short walk away The Miners Arms the food is highly recommended too!
The property sits on the edge of the peak district, at the highest point in Carsington Village with lovely views over the water. Carsington Water has walking and cycle tracks (cycle hire), sailing, wind surfing and a very interesting Visitors centre. Close by are the market town of Ashbourne and Bakewell. Matlock Bath is a 15 minute car ride away. Chatsworth House, Gullivers Kingdom, Bolsover Castle, Castleton famous for the Blue John mines, Eyam and Crich Tramway museum to name a few.
