A bright and warm cottage located in popular Oadby village. A large double bedroom, with 4 pillows, and luxury duvet. A spacious bathroom with shower & bath. A newly renovated fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, microwave & everything you need to cook & share a meal, enjoy a glass of wine, and breakfast. The small & cosy lounge has new stylish decor, sofa, Smart TV and a selection of books and board games. There is a small yard to the rear, with table & chairs and plants.
Hello, we are a local family. We have a 9 year old son and 2 year old daughter, a dog and a cat. We have a passion for properties that have character and tradition. In 2021, we completed a full renovation on this lovely 1890s cottage. New roof, new heating system and new kitchen! I love interior design, styling, and hosting, and I hope one day to do this full time. My partner is a designer and I am a Project Manager. Oadby is a lovely, friendly village and has lots to offer. A selection of restaurants and bars, supermarkets, cafes and shops are all within walking distance. Starbucks is a 5 minute walk and located next door to Lidl. Costa Coffee is located in the village, next to M&S and opposite a post office, charity shops, and a local fruit market. This is approximately a 10 minute walk, parking also available in the village. There’s also a church and several parks within walking distance. The bus service is great. On street car parking is available. Regarding parking. There are several options depending on the time of day. During Monday - Saturday, you can park directly opposite for 1 hour between 8-6pm, and unlimited parking either side of these hours and on a Sunday all day. For all day parking during the week, there are spaces across from the play park (approx 100meters from the cottage) and in the housing close called The Moorwoods there are also free spaces.
