The property was built in 1788 by Edward Story and was originally used as a home for the Christian Ministry. Over the years the property has been used as a home for a wealthy dentist in the Victorian era and was also the home to the couture fashion boutique “House of Mirelle” when Story St was considered the “Carnaby St” of the north. In 2021 the property was lovingly converted into 4 modern self-contained apartments that complement the original design of the building.
We are your hosts and owners of the property and live in the local area.
The apartments are in the city centre and are within a 5 minutes walk of the train and bus station and several car parks are very close by as well. Bars, restaurants and local supermarkets are close by. The international ferry terminal and the University of Hull are Both within a 10-minute drive of the apartments.
