Andorinho Apartment has the sea views most of us crave, so both sun-set and sun-rise are clearly visible across the sea from the living room or kitchen. It is ideally positioned for travellers- minutes from the main-line railway station and a stone's throw from two beaches. In one direction is St Mildred's Bay and the other Margate main sands, 'the Golden Mile' and Dream Land. There are few places where you can walk along the beach to a vibrant art gallery and a variety of quirky locally managed shops, cafes and restaurants. The Turner Contemporary Gallery and Margate Old town offer plenty of opportunity for exploration. Andorinho Apartment is a self contained split level apartment , recently completely renovated and now with everything you need to self cater for a few days away form home.

I no longer work full-time which allows me to visit the coast more than ever before and manage this and another property . I now live between Margate and London- so i think I have the best of both worlds. I love the spirit of renewal, the creative buzz and the friendly welcoming community which is Margate. I still teach English sometime s but also like to draw, paint and mosaic. I try to share creative ideas with others, do yoga , salsa and travel whenever I can.

Margate is marvellous! It is re-inventng itself through the efforts and ingenuity of the local community. The Old Town has cobbled streets, arty shops and hidden corners. There is always something happening at the Turner and the beaches all around the Kent coast are magnificent. There are a variety of festivals throughout the year to watch out for. Margate has a buzz.
