A very spacious 1 bedroom flat in between Clapham and Wandsworth Common. The flat has recently been renovated giving it a light, bright and airy feel. The bedroom has a trundle bed that pills out into twin or super king size, fresh white linen and towels, a dressing table and handing space behind the door.The bathroom has a bath with a shower overhead. The Common is one road away and perfect for a morning walk. Northcote Road is within a 2 minutes walk and has many shops, bars and restaurants.
Ed and I have lived in the area for 7 years and love it. The flat is our home and we spent 4 months renovating it. The kitchen and bathrooms are brand new and stylish ( in our opinion). Each morning we enjoy a walk around Clapham Common with a coffee at the Pear Tree which is in the middle, next to the bandstand. Our favourite pub is The Bollingbrook on the Northcote Road. If you want something a little more fancy, we would recommend Ploussard on Battersea Rise. The small turquoise coffee waggon, opposite the CoOp is by far the best coffee on the Northcote Road and we love to support him. Waitrose and M&S are back towards Clapham Junction station on St Johns Road.
Clapham Junction Train Station is a 12 min walk. The train to Victoria Station is less than 5 mins or 8 mins to Waterloo. The 35 or 37 bus can take you to Clapham Common Underground Station in 7mins where you can take the Northern Line into central London. There is a Boris Bike station on the left hand side of the common ( 5mins).
