Stay in the heart of Macclesfield, convenient for all the town's shops, restaurants, bars and ammenities. This former Silk Mill manager's town house has 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and open plan Lounge-Kitchen. Restored to its former glory, with underfloor heating and period features. Tucked away on a cobbled street, round the corner from Chestergate and the Market Square, with all the convenience of bars, supermarkets, cinema & train-station all a short walk away. Parking just 1 min walk from the door. The 2 bedrooms with twin single beds can be made into doubles on request. The house is heated and powered using zero carbon electricty via Octopus Energy.
I've lived and worked in Macclesfield for over 30 years and love the town and all its character. I live a short bike ride away, so on hand if required. I can advise on eateries, bars and attractions & other activities. The centre is bustling with cafes shops and restaurants. Sainsburys & Aldi are a short walk from the apartments. The Treacle Market is on the last Sunday each month and the artisan food and local craft stalls are well worth a visit.
