Bryn Tirion, a fabulous relaxing retreat for 1 or 2 people, the cottage nestles upon Mynydd y Graig on the edge of Rhiw village, it enjoys the most exceptional south westerly view over the sea to Ynys Enlli - Bardsey Island. A large, lofty master bedroom with Super King / Twin beds, and a sitting area with a log burning stove, occupies the original Crog Loft cottage - which has been extended over the years to include additional creature comforts: ACCESS is through the farmers 5 bar metal gate. (THE GATE MUST BE KEPT CLOSED AT ALL TIMES) Park at the fork in the road, and walk 100 yards back to the metal gate. Walk through the gate (closing it behind you, up the gentle slope another 100 yards to the cottage. A cosy sitting room with a log burning stove, and a large picture window commanding the stunning sea view; and in the evenings the setting sun over the Irish Sea. The well appointed limed oak kitchen includes a small dining area with a dishwasher and all cooking essentials. The utility room has an American style large fridge / freezer, washer and dryer. The cottage has gas central heating, and additional storage heaters. A fabulous location to Relax in Style.
Andrew's family has had a long standing love of the Llyn Peninsula, holidaying here for several generations. We have recently had the opportunity to purchase this exceptional property encompassing our favourite view on the Llyn. Latterly we had an Interior Design business and more recently sold our bed and breakfast in Nottinghamsire. Our passion for Houses, Antiques and Art remain our primary interests, which we enjoy sharing with our creative friends and family.
Rhiw is situated on high ground between the seaside resort ofww Abersoch and the local sea side village of Aberdaron. The National Trust owned 17Th Century Manor House and garden is close by which overlooks the magnificent porth Neigwl bay. Aberdaron has the recent addition of the National Trust visitor centre for the Llyn. It has 2 hotels/pubs, tea rooms, a bakery, fish and chip shop/restaurant. There is a newsagent/off liscence and Pizza take away on the beach. A Spar with post office and Grocery store. Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli) is an ancient place of pilgrimage, accessible, weather permitting by boat. Trips are once a day in the season. The Llyn Peninsula is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Welsh the first Language is widely spoken in this exceptional area of Wales. It boasts an abundance of fabulous beaches and coves. There are stunning views of Snowdonia over the unspoilt countryside and coastline.
