1 The Cairn is a beautifully finished period property, situated in the heart of Kilmartin. Tastefully modernised, it keeps many of its original features and retains its character. Once operating as ‘The Cairn’ restaurant, it was converted a number of years ago, and enjoys a prominent position in Kilmartin, across from the new museum. Sleeping up to 4 in 2 bedrooms, the flat is ideal for those looking to explore the ancient Kilmartin Glen and Argyll. With luxury furnishings, sociable open plan living area, and everything you need for a relaxing break, it is the perfect home from home! All on the ground floor, it features a spacious open plan living room/dining area/kitchen, with high ceilings, original beams and window seats. The living room has a plush 3 seater velvet Snug sofa, and pouffe. There is a TV with Fire stick to allow guests to log in to their own accounts (no standard TV). The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need, including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven/grill, hob and microwave. The main bedroom has a super-comfy king sized bed with plenty of storage space. There is also a desk with comfortable office chair if you need to keep up with work during your stay. The second bedroom features a sofa bed. The spacious bathroom benefits from period tiling to the floor, and has a separate bath and shower. Pets are welcome at an additional fee.

Set in the heart of the Kilmartin Glen, an area steeped in history, the flat offers the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. There are standing stones; stone circles; ancient carvings; and loads of great walks with even better views!) all within a couple of miles radius of the village. The Crinan Canal is also a short distance away and makes for a lovely walk or cycle.
