Ideal for walkers, cyclists and bikers. Our 2 bedroomed wooden lodge offers a great place to rest and get your head down before onward travels. Set within the 5 acre site and nestled amongst various fruit trees the area is private secluded with views over the lake. Stay over night or for a couple of days or use us as a base to explore - a warm welcome awaits With a fully equipped, kitchenette as well as small BBQ and outdoor pool, what could be better after a days travelling to relax.
We are an English couple, who have taken early retirement to the quiet countryside of the Loire valley. We live on site and are available to assist you should you require it. Dont hesitate to book with us, you can be assured of a warm welcome
We are in the Loire Valley of France famous for its good quality wines. We are very much off grid with agricultural land all around us. Although the towns of Bourges and Nevers are about 30 minutes away by car. Our local railways station is a 10 minute drive away with its direct line to Paris in around 2 hours Shops and supermarkets all conveniently located and a welcome basket can be provided if prior notice and your shopping list is given (subject to availability and charges apply) There is lots to explore from the cathedral in Bourges which is now a world heritage site, to the Scottish historical town or Aubigny. We are a natural route for cyclists and bike enthusiasts with our long country roads and cycle routes within the area and previous route points of the Tour de France. Away from the road side and prying eyes - your bike can be stored close to the lodge or even inside our house if there is space.
