Saint Denis is unique.
Saint Denis is unique. It is not Paris, but it has its own multicultural, multiethnic culture. It is generally safe, but noisy and doesn’t have the same rules as living in central Paris!
Late night travelling is not recommend, unless with a companion or taxi.
I don’t feel unsafe there, but if you are hoping for the quintessential ‘Parisian experience’, I’d strongly suggest you stay within the circular road surrounding central Paris..However, if you want to experience the real multiethnic colourful rainbow of Paris, then this is the place for you!

Ideal location for attending matches at the Stade de France.
Ideal location for attending matches at the Stade de France. The Basilica houses the Royal necropolis and was well worth a visit . There are some restaurants although many were closed at the weekend. Easy access to central Paris by train.

This is an apartment building not a hotel.
This is an apartment building not a hotel. We arrived when we said we would and was unable to find anyone to let us in. In the end we waisted an entire day and had to stay some where else. For us this was a scam.

There's an energy about the area and it has a community...
There's an energy about the area and it has a community feeling that was lacking in other areas. People were extremely helpful even though we had very little French. At the famous sights security was very evident with armed police and police vans everywhere giving the place a very sombre atmosphere. Due to the protests and riots it wasn't the best time to visit Paris, but around our apartment building there was a very relaxed feeling.
This hotel suited our needs perfectly. We were travelling from south of France with a rental car and needed to return it at CGD airport before a 24 hour flight. This hotel has secure parking outside the congestion zone and was perfect to park at and enjoy an evening in Paris before our flight. Rooms were comfy and clean. I'm aware the location is known for being a bit dodgy however the hotel entrance is right beside the metro station entrance so this was not a concern for us.
Close to Stade de France, comfortable beds, great staff. Reception staff went to great efforts to recommend restaurants/bars in central Paris and recommendations were spot on. Travel on RER and metro well explained and all done in a gracious, friendly, professional manner. The night porter was friendly and professional and opened the bar, even though not his responsibility - and went to get some milk for the tea tray in the bedroom. Staff all had a great attitude.
We stopped for a night so we could travel to the centre of Paris the next day. And we did. The best thing of this hotel is that it has plenty of parking spaces. And we could leave our car there after checking out. It's very close to a tram station and although there were a few changes, it's quite easy to get to Paris. Nothing like what the bad reviews said happened to us (well, the mattress was indeed a bit hard but as a temporary stay, I didn't mind it at all).
The location is great if you want to stay in St. Denis or you want to visit Paris. The apartment was great for solo travelers or for couples. It has everything you need for a good stay. Comfy and clean in a quiet neighborhood. The metro to the heart of Paris is in less than 5min. walking distance. I recomend it with both hands, and deffinately will stay there if i visit Paris again!
Great location for the rugby. 45 minute walk back from stadium when no cabs. Then a Bolt ride into Paris the next day was super easy. Breakfast was fabulous. Fresh bread, eggs, cereals/yoghurts. Friendly staff, helpful.
I like hotel room as value for money, and good to stay for a night or so...
Its nearby metro station, and supermarket.
If you have diet limitations, then nice vegetarian and halal restaurant nearby this property.
Great apartment. Very friendly and helpful owners. Good location for us cycling on the Avenue Verte London to Paris and safe storage for bikes in the garden. Lovely bakery nearby and supermarket just across the canal.
I liked the staff which were in the most very helpful and friendly. The location was the highlight for me. I also liked the fact that one could get in and out of the hotel easily and the checkin process was easy.
Very clean, is just perfect for going to the rugby world cup. It about 15 euros taxi ride for 2 people from the stadium to the hotel at 2am in the morning. Close to metro station to Paris.
Great continental breakfast, with a good choice.
Perfect for a match or concert in the Stade de France as it is very close to the Stadium and the M13 Porte de Paris metro station.
Incredible appartement - clean - cozy - great location. close to grocery store and public transportation. Secure parking was a huge bonus! Terrific communication from the owner.
The host is very friendly. The appartment is located 100 meter away from stade de france.
Wonderful terrace with beautiful lighting at night. Just perfect.
