Once you've arrived, everything is within walking distance: just take Rue des Boucheries and you'll find yourself in the center of BILLOM. A lively little town with all the necessary shops and local services: 2 PHARMACIES, Tabacs presse, La Poste, Banques CA, BANQUE POPULAIRE, CAISSE D'EPARGNE, and ATMs, AUCHAN supermarket in the center of BILLOM, small stores selling local and organic produce, 2 tearooms, bookshop, badaboom (games stores), 5 bakeries and pastry shops, several Indian, Reunionese, kebab, traditional and café restaurants, 2 pizzerias...
I'm a native of Burgundy and life brought me to BILLOM in 1979. That's when I discovered the jewel that was the medieval quarter and I was totally seduced. I had the perfect opportunity to buy this house in 2003, which dated from the 1940s. It originally consisted of 3 flats and was derelict. It was a colossal task to renovate it, and what's more, it offered me a little breathing space in total privacy, which is essential for me as I come from the countryside, a small garden of 50 m2! I'd be delighted to welcome you to my home, which I've invested a lot of time and effort in renovating so that you'll feel as much at home in it as I have in all the years I've lived here. As you may have guessed, there is a neighbourhood restriction which does not allow parties with music, in order to respect the tranquillity of the neighbourhood. But you'll find yourself in a jewel case, out of time! I hope you enjoy
Charming house in the heart of the medieval quarter with spacious terrace. Short family walks around BILLOM (1 to 2 hours) Château de Montmorin, Notre Dame de la Salette, Le Turluron, Notre Dame de Roche in Saint-Julien de Coppel... Ideas for fun, and for further information or other ideas for activities we couldn't fit in everything, documents available on site and close to the BILLOM TOURIST OFFICE (200 m).
