The property is a beautifully restored house . The apartment we stayed in was exceptional and had an amazing view of the Medieval city . Delphine recommended a restaurant this was also excellent

Can only re-iterate what other reviews have said. Superbly renovated apartment in an amazing historic building, with all home comforts and probably the best views of the medieval city. It was quite chilly outside when we were there, but the apartment was warm and cosy. The location is very convenient - walking distance to main attractions, restaurants nearby and a handy shop just downstairs ( fresh bread and croissants delivered to your door). Secure private parking. Fantastic hosts who are always available and do everything possible to make you feel welcome. If you come to Carcassonne there can be few, if any, better places to stay.

The accommodation was second to none. The location and apartment are excellent. Delphine and Fred are most friendly and hospitable hosts. We really enjoyed our break in their expertly renovated and historic house. If you are going for a break to Carcassonne you will not find a better place to stay!

This was the most amazing studio apartment that I could have dreamed of. The location at the foot of La Cité was perfect and just a short 10 minute stroll to La Bastide. The studio was so beautifully and practically finished. The hosts, Fred and Delphine, have thought of absolutely everything! They are the most amazing kind and considerate hosts!!! The history in the building itself is amazing. I felt so privileged to stay there! If I could rate it higher than a 10 I definitely would!

The location, very clean, the hosts. Delphine and Fred are such lovely people. Left home baked cakes and crepes outside our room. Messaged back immediately whenever we needed anything. Transport to and from the airport very helpful. Had a fantastic time.

Delphine and Fred were exceptional hosts who made our short stay memorable , from initial booking through to leaving they really could not have done any more to add to our experience. The 15th Century property has lots of character and the rooms have been restored to a very high and thoughtful standard, with everything we needed. Cleanliness was immaculate. The location is close to the wonderful attractions that Carcassonne has too offer but feels more local than touristy which we personally prefer. The medieval city is a short walk of around 15 minutes to one of the main entrances, less if you take the short cuts which are steep but fine for many. Central Carcassonne is a similar distance over a stone pedestrian bridge and whilst we only visited briefly it did look to have plenty to keep you busy for a few days. We would certainly look to visit again in the future and use this as a base to explore further afield.

The property was in a great location just below the castle wall with easy access to all attractions. It’s a very comfy Studio with a really high standard of decoration and cleanliness. The owners were friendly and really made our stay, making us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, they were available to give us information when required and very kindly showed us round the amazing building they are restoring.
