This chateau-like property has an idyllic location and is surrounded by a sizeable estate on which roam two llamas and two horses. The rooms feature individual tasteful decor. Considering the many corners and edges of such an old-style structure with planks etc and its location the room was impressively clean, without spiders and insects.

Location is perfect, walking to the town and to the Chateau des Luce was so continent. Breakfast was good, it was great to have the use of a small kitchennette with fridge, microwave, crockery etc. Our room was opposite the main house and it provided cool shelter from the exceptional heatwave we had during the stay. Very big bathroom with shower and two basins which was very good.

Our host Annik was very welcoming and so helpful with our requests and suggestions for our stay. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. Manoir de la Maison is located in a lovely rural setting but close to the centre of Amboise town. Annik is so friendly and went out of her way for us to enjoy our two night stay. I highly recommend!

The location is stunning with animals and nature everywhere. Annick is a very gentle hostess and makes you feel at home. Breakfast is very good with local products and homemade jelly. A must-stay if you enjoy connecting to people and nature.

Location was ideal, very quiet area but still within walking distance to the centre of Amboise (about 15 mins walk to Clos Luce). Beautiful garden to sit and look at while you relax in the evening. Annick very friendly and helpful. Private parking.

Setting was very nice in a beautiful old farmhouse amongst trees and park like grounds. The property is very close (but not easily walkable) to the town centre. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. We had a large room with private entrance and plenty of seating areas in the garden. There was a little kitchen for guest use.

The location is great. It’s near the center of the town and close to beautiful castles. But it’s quite with a lot of green. The breakfast prepared by the owner is fantastic.

The breakfast was lovely and the fresh pastries and homemade jam were wonderful. The accommodations were perfect for our family of three. Access to the little kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator worked well for us. Parking on-site was great as this place is not quite walking distance to town. Our host (Annick) was wonderful as well as the furry friends! Annick's recommendations were perfect - she even helped us make dinner reservations for a place that was the favorite of our time in France.
