Property information

Maison Jaune, situated on the edge of the piste in the Les Houches ski area, is a spacious five-bedroom, five bathroom stand-alone chalet sleeping 10 guests. Two traditional Alpine mazots in the garden can also be booked to sleep a total of 14. It is one of the few true ski-in ski-out chalets in the Chamonix Valley and also perfectly located for peaceful summer retreats. The views of the Mont Blanc Massif from the airy living room, bedrooms and sunny terrace are arguably the best in the valley.

Neighbourhood information

The Maison Jaune is located on the edge of the Ailloud home run, a short ski from the Bellevue and Prarion lift, giving direct access to the Les Houches ski area, or bus links to the other ski areas of the Chamonix Valley. The chalet is located close to the head of many of the famous walking trails such as the Chalet des Charousse and the Tour du Mont Blanc, where you can enjoy some stunning summer hiking or winter snow shoeing. A 5-minute drive takes you down to the Chavants lake, where you will find a lake side café/ restaurant, a bakery, a bolted climbing wall, tennis courts, a children’s playground and a beautiful wooden area for gentle walks. You can also walk down to the Chavants lake in about 20 minutes down picturesque back streets and walking paths. In the winter, the Chavant lake area offers cross country skiing, a children’s ski area and a sledging area. A short drive from the chalet, the Grange d’en Haute offers a Spa and a restaurant. Located on the Les Houches home run, this chalet is truly Ski In Ski Out. You will need a vehicule to access the chalet.
