The location of this newly renovated French gîte is perfect for families, couples and groups of friends looking for a quiet and cultural experience while embedding themselves in wonderful French nature. The first floor boasts two forward facing bedrooms, one a cute double and the other a comfortable twin room, both come with a wardrobe to be used by guests. The bathroom with a single shower is also located here, and the floor has access through a rear door. A delightful loft conversion with a double bed is spread across the second floor that enjoys the best views in the property, with two forward facing windows. The house has all the modern amenities available, with guests being able to enjoy live French and English television, Wi-Fi access, also DVD & Blu-ray Player and a selection of books to enjoy anytime of the day. Parking is available directly outside the property. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate customers with pets, and request that those who smoke, do so outside.
We are on site to assist with any queries on activities available in the area, with Keith having a passion for cycling he can advise on some of the best routes in the area, depending on ability.
Lac de Vassiviere for all water sports, swimming, cycling paths and walks around the lake side. D'Arbre en Arbre, move from tree to tree on adapted and progressive air routes arranged between the trees, series of workshops (bridges, nets, suspension bridges, zip lines, ladders ...) Local fishing available at the lake or surrounding rivers (Licences available locally) Aubusson is a city that grew alongside the ancient art of tapestry: centuries of weaving are celebrated in the city’s own museum of tapestry.
