At lunchtime, let yourself be tempted by an oyster tasting in one of the Bassin's oyster-farming ports: the port of La Teste awaits you with its famous huts, or Gujan, or the market in La Teste or Arcachon (bring a container if you wish to have them opened, and don't go too late for this request). Then set off to conquer the majestic Dune du Pyla. If you fancy taking to the open sea, there are regular boat shuttles from the Thiers jetty in Arcachon to Cap Ferret, Ile aux Oiseaux, the famous cabanes tchanquées and the Banc d'Arguin !
