Le Petit Coin de Charme is a period medieval house full of quaint rustic charm, owned and run by an english lady. There are some very steep staircases, and lots of them, so please this is NOT SOMEWHERE FOR THOSE WITH MOBILITY PROBLEMS. There are many old beams and beautiful brickwork, fireplaces and wooden floors. It is a house like no other, and I love it. My two rooms are completely different. My top room is incredibly romantic and made for that perfect romantic weekend away with your loved one. It also has a mezzanine floor. People absolutely love this room! It also comes with its own terrace which is lovely in the summer months. The double room is very quaint done out in pastel colours with its own small ensuite. This is an old building with a lot of steep stairs, so please be aware of this, it is NOT SUITABLE FOR THOSE WITH ANY MOBILITY ISSUES. There is a road outside which is not too busy, but there is some traffic noise, but very quiet at night.
Caylus is fairly mediaeval quiet village in rural France. We have four restaurants, two take away pizza places and two bars which are all within 5-10 minutes walk away. The lake is beautiful and is a 2 minute walk, in the summer there is a small gangette with music several nights if the week. We have various shops and galleries, a market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. There are lots of beautiful villages, towns and places to visit nearby as well as rivers and lakes with kayaking.
