Gite L'hirondelle is in the heart of the beautiful Creuse countryside in a farming hamlet with good transport links for sightseeing. Only 50 minutes from Limoges airport. Situated between Gueret and La Souterraine. Gite L'hirondelle is a pretty 2 bedroomed cottage which comfortably sleeps 5. It is very well equipped and recently refurbished. Baby equipment is available on request. The garden has a patio and bbq for alfresco dining. The cottage is set out over 3 floors. The ground floor has a separate kitchen and a living/dining room. Flat screen tv and dvd player. Laundry room and a wc. Access to the garden with patio area and bbq. On the first floor there is a double bedroom and a shower room with toilet and hand basin. On the top floor there is a large bedroom with a double and a single bed. A screen is also provided for privacy. The property offers free wifi. We have a selection of bikes available for guest use. La Souterraine is a beautiful medieval town and is on the pilgrim route of St Jacques de Compestelle. It has a lovely church and many facilities. The cottage is in an ideal situation for house hunters.

June and Carl have recently renovated the cottage since their permanent move to France and are on hand should they be needed. They wish to welcome you to the beautiful creuse countryside and hope you enjoy it as much as they do. Carl enjoys fishing locally and spotting as many different types of birds as he can as there is a vast variety around us. June enjoys learning the language, yoga and volunteers at the local library.
