The district "La Varenne Saint Hilaire" is located at the eastern of the city and is completely in the loop of the Marne. Consisting mainly of detached houses, it is undoubtedly the most "residential" area and therefore the most expensive. The shops are very numerous and the markets, which take place on Thursdays and Sundays in Stalingrad Square, are extremely important. RER A station (La Varenne/Chennevières) is in the heart of the district and near a Supermarket with a very large car park (first hour free).
