Beautifully restored in a traditional Provencal style, Domaine de la Vène can accommodate up to 22 guests across 11 bedrooms which are a mix of double and twin rooms, and are split between the main house and an adjoining cottage. The property is 11,840 square feet, and is set within 650 acres of private estate which is a beautiful landscape of vineyards, olive groves, and lavender and pine-covered hillsides. It has a swimming pool and a pool house, two kitchens, a prep kitchen, a dining room, two reception rooms (one of which is a cinema room), and multiple outdoor seating areas. There are 8 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets. There are two flights of stairs within the property. Set within a 650 acre private estate, this magnificent Provencal villa is truly breathtaking. The property sleeps 22 across the main house and an adjoining cottage, and there is a beautiful pool with a pool house. There are two kitchens, and a separate prep kitchen, multiple indoor and outdoor dining and seating areas, a cinema room. Away from the roads, and with land as far as you can see, the property has everything to ensure you and your guests don’t need to leave the grounds during your stay, but if you wish to, this wonderful region of southern France is equally stunning with much to explore. The nearest airport is Carcassonne Airport which is half an hour drive away.

Sitting in the foothills of the Pyrenees, there is a wonderful amount to explore in this culturally rich region of the South of France - wine tours and cooking lessons, wild swimming spots, amongst various other activities. The medieval city of Carcassonne is nearby, and there are beautiful beaches within a day trip distance (Gruissan Plage is 75km). The house is wonderfully private, set back from any roads and with land as far the eye can see (the whole estate is 630 acres), it is a breathtaking unspoilt Mediterranean landscape. There is free parking right next to the house. The property is only a half-an-hour drive from Carcassonne. Toulouse Airport is a 1.5-hour car ride away, and Montpellier Airport 2-hour car ride away.
