With a chlorine-free pool for a soothing soaking and a zen pool to relax. This place exudes tranquility so that during the day you can enjoy under the sun and at night under the galaxy. This hidden treasure among ancient olive trees is a paradise for nature lovers and ornithologists, who can laze in a hammock or go on an adventure through the river with waterfall at the house. You can stay here in an original setting: in ethnically furnished rooms, authentic yurts or in a cozy casita (self-catering). In short, surprisingly staying and glamping for the most demanding travelers! Also connoisseurs will get their money's worth and be pampered with delicious food at the extensive breakfast and the table d'hôtes, because Joost and Tatienne attach great importance to fresh and organic ingredients. Tatienne ran a cozy shop with silver jewels and Oriental gift items, for 20 yaers. She is also a henna artist and you found her at festivals such as Gentse feesten, Mano Mundo and Sfinks. Joost has worked for a long time in the social sector with young people. He has a passion for many musical genres that he could play as a DJ in AB and at all kinds of parties. Together they visited the four corners of the world. All these ingredients can be found in the layout of their B & B. And last but not least, they both have a passion for cooking which is not unimportant for the gourmets among you! Your hostess and host also spoil your taste buds with great enthusiasm. With generous breakfasts in which organic regional or own products play the leading role. With mouth-watering, healthy meals. And with perfectly served quirky cocktails based on rum and gin to lick your thumbs and fingers.
Valle de Oro is in the middle of 3 provinces, Malaga(1h), Cordoba(1,20h) and Granada(1h). So it's a the perfect base for those who want to experience culture and history. Or a little closer in Antequera or Priego de Cordoba.It is located on the 'Ruta del Olivar'. This route is a challenge for many avid cyclists. But is also wonderful to explore by car. Hikers who follow the Camino Mozarabe de Santiago from Malaga to Merida can recharge their batteries with us. We provide transportation from the center to our B&B. The nature park of the Subbetica is only 45 km from us. Here you can walk nicely or ride the Via Verde with a rented mountain bike. If you like a bit of adventure, try rafting on the Rio Genil.
