The location of the apartment is excellent; you can see Puerta del Sol from the front balcony, the Sol metro station is just metres away, and a large department store (including a grocery store in the basement) is just over the road. We loved the location and could walk to lots of tourist sites very easily, as well as many restaurants, cafes, and shops.
