Even though I booked late in the day and got there late, I got the best room in the house. ( The one in the photo). The room is big, tastefully designed with a Hugh bathrooom and shower and an exit to a roof with great views. The hotel is a little off the busy turistic area and that's a hugh plus in my book, but only 5 minutes walk from the beach. The breakfast was rich, fresh, plantyfull and diversed. The staff was the picture of great service, helpfulness and welcoming.

Hotel Montmar’s rooms are decorated with tiled floors. Most have their own balcony and all have a private bathroom. The Montmar’s restaurant serves breakfast prepared with local produce. The surrounding area is popular for trekking and mountain biking. Set on the Costa Brava, Roses is close to Cap de Creus National Park. The seaside town of Cadaqués is just 16 km away.
