B&B La Rectoria de Sant Miquel de Pineda is set in the Garrotxa Volcanic Nature Reserve, 12 km from Olot. Set in large gardens, this renovated 12th-century rectory offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The rustic rooms are heated and feature garden or mountain views. They have tiled floors, a wardrobe and a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries. A free breakfast is served and the dining room overlooks the gardens. Catalan cuisine, using local ingredients, is mixed with French and Scottish influences. Special diet menus and packed lunches can be requested. A laundry and ironing service is available and you can hire a bicycle. There are 2 lounges, one with a fireplace and the other with a TV.

La Garrotxa is our hidden gem, our home. It was in January 2007, less than two months after our arrival in Catalonia that we first set our eyes on La Rectoria de Sant Miquel de Pineda. The house and the area 'ticked all of the boxes'. La Rectoria offered everything required to establish our Bed &amp; Breakfast, situated within a national park in the beauty of La Garrotxa with excellent access to both Barcelona and Girona. With our magnificent building team we were able to give new life to the old rectoria that has stood here for over 800 years and in October 2011 we opened our doors to welcome our first guests. There have been more than one or two heart stopping moments along the way, but with the passing of each year we have become more and more attached to the sense of place which La Rectoria and its chapel have and to the beauty of the space around us. Each day the canvas of the landscape changes and each day we try to capture an image in mind and memory. La Garrotxa is our hidden gem, our home.

Formerly the priest's house dating from the 12th century, now a place to rest up before continuing on your way. To disconnect and reconnect. To get closer to nature and to slow down. We offer relaxed and uncomplicated service. Comfort, warmth, light, fresh air, homemade local food, a 'dram' and pointers on what to see and do.
