Valles de Ortega is one of the neighbourhoods that belongs to the municipality of Antigua, on the island of Fuerteventura. It is located almost in the centre of the island, at an altitude of 240 metres above sea level and with a population of approximately 700 inhabitants, according to the data obtained for the year 2022. The set of houses that make up the neighbourhood is distributed along the "Calle Real", the first existing street in the place, later expanding the town as more buildings were built. To this day, you can still see the first houses that made up the town, appreciating in them the construction system with which they were carried out, where stone prevails as the main construction element. Regarding the communication routes, Valles de Ortega is well connected both internally and with the surrounding environment through paved roads and graveled paths.
